On 1 October, the second practical session of the Marine Starguide course was held in the Canary Islands, with the participation of KR7 Ecotours (Madeira) and Serea Excursiones (El Hierro).
The meeting was hosted by Keep Sailing, while Nautic Ocean led the practical part, allowing participants to apply the knowledge they had acquired in a real-life setting.
This course is part of the TWINNEDbySTARS project and aims to train marine guides to offer unique experiences that combine sailing, nature and stargazing. Each session seeks to foster collaboration between companies in the outermost regions and strengthen sustainable astro-tourism in the Canary Islands and surrounding areas.
With this second practical session, participants advance in their training, moving closer to becoming Marine Starguides capable of connecting the sea with the starry sky and offering memorable experiences
