The Grand Port Maritime de la Martinique (GPMLM) is the main, state-owned port authority in Martinique, managing both the commercial port of Fort-de-France and the industrial port of Bellefontaine. Established in 2013, it serves as a critical economic hub, handling nearly all of the island’s external trade, including containers, passengers, and hydrocarbons, while offering 2.7 km of quays.
