The Global Maritime Congress 2024

The Global Maritime Congress 2024 (GMC’24), in partnership with Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Maritime, UCTEA The Chamber of Marine Engineers, Batumi State Maritime Academy, Constanta Maritime University, and Strathclyde University, will take place at the İTÜ Tuzla Campus, Istanbul, from May 20 to May 21, 2024.

Under the theme “Future of Shipping,” the international congress will address crucial topics such as technological approaches in maritime, energy efficiency, the human factor, innovative design and inventions, cybersecurity at sea, new marine fuels and efficiency, shipbuilding, logistics and maritime trade and law, port operations, digital approaches in maritime transportation management, and more.

Scientific research presented as a result of evaluations by the academic board will be published as full-text articles in the Journal of ETA Maritime Science (JEMS), published by UCTEA, the Chamber of Marine Engineers.

The organising board expresses gratitude in advance for the participation of valuable stakeholders in the maritime industry in the congress and for their academic, institutional, and sponsorship support.
